Originally from Saskatchewan, Summer moved to Prince George in 1993. Always having had a passion for architecture and design, her skills in math and physics steered her towards the Engineering Design Technology Program at the College of New Caledonia.
After 5 years of working in the field of mechanical engineering designing everything from bearings to hydraulic cylinders (boring), Summer’s entrepreneurial spirit ultimately lead her to a career in real estate.
She’s been a successful Real Estate Professional helping her wonderful clients buy and sell homes in Prince George since 2005. Summer has also been busy in her personal life in this same time period, having a wedding and 3 children since 2006! Let’s just say she’s great at multitasking.
Summer’s primary focus is the Prince George area – from Beaverley to Salmon Valley, and everything in between. She especially enjoys working with people relocating to Prince George because she understands those challenges on a personal level. Helping to evaluate the needs and desires of her clients to find the perfect home within their budget is one of her strong suits. She also takes great joy in helping first time homebuyers find the home they may never have thought possible to own. Her years of experience in the local market means she is a tremendous asset to the clients she serves; consistently giving them peace of mind through her experience, organizational skills and proven negotiation results. It’s easy to see that Summer’s pride in what she does translates into a great home buying or selling experience for her clients.
Being a real estate agent is more than just being a salesperson; it’s about relationships. It’s about taking care of the client, regardless of their decision to buy, sell or walk away. Summer knows that every successful relationship can only be built on open communication, which is why the relationships she’s formed with her clients last much longer than the transaction and many turn into true friendships.
